We’re a small, family-run Tearoom and Farmshop situated in the pretty village of Dorchester-on-Thames, often used as a location for Midsommer Murders. The building is mostly 16th century but was made into a shop in the 1950s by my grandfather, who ran a greengrocers. We’ve been open for two years: I think he’d be pleased with our success!
… delicious lunches and Cream Teas, home-made with produce from our Organic Farm in neighbouring Warborough. We sell our own fruit and veg, Britwell Honey and Waterperry Apple Juice amongst other, local produce.
… cakes are made by Samantha, whose pecan pie was described by a visitor from the US as the best he’d ever eaten! We also offer gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options
… tasty Clipper Tea in vintage, mismatched crockery, and James’ Gourmet Organic Coffee sourced for us by coffee expert Emily – who, luckily, lives in the village!

We also sell cards by wildlife photographer James Soden and artist Patsy Smiles, artwork and gifts by local artists, as well as vintage memorabilia and funky pottery by Jenny Knight.
Children and wellies welcome!
